Full (Complete) Dentures – Full dentures are removable prosthetic devices designed to replace missing teeth in a case where no teeth remain. This may be for either the upper jaw or lower jaw.

Partial Dentures – Partial dentures are removable prosthetic devices designed to replace some, but not all, missing teeth. The remaining natural teeth are used as an attachment to which the partial denture connects the prosthetic teeth to the remaining natural teeth.

Implant-Supported DenturesFull dentures which are attached to dental implants (see dental implants). This type of prosthesis is much more stable and provides for a superior prosthesis, as opposed to full dentures alone.
